Legal Requirements

You must be at least 21 years of age to order and receive wine from Seaver Vineyards. Receipt of shipments containing wine requires the signature of an adult; someone over the age of 21 years or older. Wines purchased from Seaver Vineyards are for personal consumption only and are not for resale.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and checks. All payments are processed at the time of purchase. Our wines are sold as “futures”. This means that payment is received at the time the order is placed and the wine is shipped at a later date when weather conditions are optimal for safely shipping wine.

We encourage you to order your allocation immediately as allocations are filled on a first-come, first-served basis only.

Members of our active list are not obligated to purchase wine during our releases however, should you purchase your full allocation and wish for additional bottles, we will most likely increase a future allocation when inventory allows.  Should you chose to purchase less than your offered allocation we may decrease your allocation in the future.  We do this so we can estimate future allocations more accurately.

Because we make such a small amount of wine each year, we only have room on our mailing list for active buyers.  Should you receive an offering during our release but chose not to purchase, your spot on our list may be given to a member patiently waiting on our waiting list.

Requests for additional bottles above your allocation amount (wish) are made directly on the allocation page at the time of placing your order. Select the total number of bottles you’d like to purchase (your allocation + your wished for amount) should we have the inventory available. Wish requests are granted after the initial offering window closes and should we have inventory available. Due to the limited production of our wines, it is very possible that we may sell out before we are able to fulfill all wish requests. Please note, when you submit a wish request for additional bottles of wine, you are giving us permission to automatically charge your credit card for the cost of the additional bottles (your wish request), plus tax and shipping. Once wishes are granted, your card will be automatically charged and we will send you an email confirming your updated order.

We currently have licenses to ship directly to the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NV, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, and WI.  If you live in a state other than what’s listed here, please find a relative, friend, or wine storage facility within a state we are allowed to ship to and use their address as your shipping address. We offer free delivery to those customers who utilize 55 Degrees or All Ways Cool.  Please note that you must have an account with 55 Degrees or All Ways Cool before we can deliver your wine order to them.

UPS is Seaver Vineyards’ carrier of choice, although we also have the ability to ship your wine via FedEx upon request, if you prefer.  We offer Ground, 2-Day or 3-Day Air, and Overnight shipping options. Please note that because of insurance restrictions, we are not able to ship using your personal or business UPS or FedEx account.

It is your responsibility to be present in order to accept and sign for the delivery of your wine.  If we need to re-ship an order due to failed delivery attempts, we will charge you $30 for the return fee in addition to the cost to re-ship your order.

It is your responsibility to verify the shipping address before submitting an order.  We will begin shipping orders to temperate states (AZ, CA, FL, GA, NC, NM, NV, OR, TN, TX, or WA) immediately. We will not begin shipping orders to colder states until later the spring. Should you live in a colder state you can expect to receive a shipping email from us two weeks before we begin shipping.  If you submit a shipping address change or a shipping date change after your wine has been shipped, you will be charged a $20.00 re-routing fee.

Returns and Cancellations

We will replace any bottle of wine that is damaged or flawed, only up to 90 days after the shipping or pickup date on your order.  You may only request a cancellation or full refund of your order only before your wine is shipped.
